We put up our Christmas decorations today. Emma really loved the tree and had to touch each (plastic) ornament at her level!

Pawp's Memorial Dinner
We gathered together Saturday night at Mario Fazio's to remember Emma's Great Pawp and celebrate his life. We enjoyed a nice dinner and memories of one of Emma's biggest fans.
Happy Thanksgiving!
This year, we all celebrated Thanksgiving at Grandma and Grandpa Lieberg's. Emma's Great Gram was there, and Grandma and Grandpa Ristau, Auntie Mal, Great Uncle Eric and Great Aunt Sharon, and even Uncle Christian and cousins Julia and Joshua. We all had a lot of fun together, not to mention a delicious meal that everyone contributed to.
how the day started
Emma watched some of the "Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade" with her daddy. Her favorite float was (of course) the Sesame Street float. When she saw that one, she had to get down and dance!
watching tv
Emma had another little cold last week and liked being wrapped in her blanket to watch Sesame Street.

Emma Counting
Emma Counting, originally uploaded by bosox026.
We missed the first few numbers because it's hard to catch Emma counting by herself like this.
playing in the leaves
This year Emma can run through leaf piles. Last year she couldn't even sit up- we had to discreetly hide our hand supporting her in the pictures we took!

Happy Halloween!
Grandma Ristau made this Elmo pumpkin for Emma. We received lots of compliments on it and some people sang the "Elmo's World" song too. It was pretty cold out, so we all stayed in and passed out candy to the few trick-or-treaters who dared come down our (mostly deserted) street. Maybe next year we will go somewhere where the residents have more Halloween spirit!
not in the mood for a picture
We decided we will use this as our Christmas card for this year...not!!!
mommy's little helper
We determined it was too cold out to go trick-or-treating. Not too many houses on our street gave out candy, so we didn't have too many visitors.
